I have a volvo penta 3.0 gs...........it seems to run fine until you put the throttle down and then the temperture goes through the roof within seconds..I have changed the impalla, thermastat and sending unit.still does the same thing.can anyone help...Greatly appreciated ty

when you changed your impeller was the old one bad, if it was bad, did you pull the hoses, did you put the hoses back on right? If the impeller was fragmented, did you flush out your hoses?<br /><br />Make sure the hoses are on right (there is an in and out)<br /><br />make sure you flush those hoses. A lot of people do not think about it, but when your old impellers fragment, gravity takes over, and the fragments go down instead of up. Make sure you flush both hoses
