I have a Four Winns Horizon 200. The Bimini top apparently had a piece that zipped onto the back of the main piece. I never had it and just noticed the zipper.

Do any of you Four Winns owners have this piece? Can you show me what it looks like?

Here is a picture of mine up. It is not a great picture because it does not show the back of the Bimini.

That's not a bimini. That's your convertible cover. The back piece (aft curtain) was a zipped in canvas that angled down to your gunwale. If your boat was originally equipped with it, there should be snaps around the edges of your gunwales. With the covers on, the boat would look kinda' like this:

I had that top on mine and suffered with it a few years and hated it! Replaced with a real 6’ Bimini. With those tops you are driving blind coming up on plane.

It's a convertible top, not a bimini. Zippers are usually included on them even if side curtains and a stern curtain are not included on the original order.

If you boat in cooler weather, or if rain often happens, you will enjoy the comfort of a full convertible top enclosure. The extra pieces shown on post #2 can be obtained from any marine canvas shop. Not usually available from a dealer for an older boat.

A full enclosure for a bimini is quite expensive.

If bow rise is an issue, rather than having to stand up at the helm, optimizing the prop, trim tabs, etc. is a preferable fix.

this one was mounted inside the windshield on slider mounts to get it out of the way when fishing etc...

Thanks everyone. Lou C is that the original ? I guess what I have is a convertible cover not a Bimini. Mine snaps on in the front. I agree that it limits visibility as you come up on plane. What is you manufacturer? and the height?

@ JimS 123 So I'm looking for the "stern curtain" Do you have pictures. The one southkogs tried to post did not come across.

@ Southkogs can you try to post the picture again?

No they did not come with the Bimini just the one you have. I added this about 15 years ago and then just changed the Sunbrella fabric again....
I think this is a Carver top that’s who I got the second top from to replace the old Sunbrella. It’s just high enough for me to stand up under...prob 6’.... the slider mount I really like..

Southkogs pic was clear and visible, but it isn't there now. I don't personally have a pic because the full canvas is rarely used by me.

Thank you. Do you have a picture from the back ? Maybe a couple showing the construction.

That would be great. Thanks

Do a web search for "convertible canvas bow rider"

I have seen people add clear panels to these tops to improve visibility. Otherwise I feel these tops are a safety hazard. With Kayakers, paddle boarders and lobster pots to watch out for you need to stand when driving at least here that is true. You can’t see enough and they are claustrophobic
