Hi.
I have a 18' 1971 Kona fiberglass shallow V boat with a strong '79 Evinrude 140 with Boyesen Reed valves so it is good for 6000 rpm.
I only care about going fast. I want to put a prop on this that will give maximum speed. I dont tow skiiers or tubes.
I assume it should be cupped, and Stainless.
With just this to describe, can anyone suggest what I should use. 12x21?
Thanks all, John

Not sure why you'd want to go so small on diameter unless you aren't using a stock gearcase. If you are using a stock gearcase I'd look for the Raker props or the Turbo Lightning Jr props. As far as pitch goes we'd have to know what you've tested, the speed, top rpm and more about your set up. If you aren't using a stock gearcase we'll have to know the ratio of what you're using.
