pls help gale(omc) year???

please if any one could help, i have just recently purchased a Gale Sovereign 60 hp outboard m/n 60DEL12B s/n 48218 if any one could help me find out the year and or a parts/service/shop/repair manual for it, it would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time

1962. Once you get a parts book, you can look up the part numbers. Then any Evinrude dealer can get you the parts, if they are still available. But they won't give you the time of day if you don't have the part numbers. They probably don't have the book either.

Most parts are the same as a 1964 Evinrude or Johnson 60hp.
