1975 70 HP Evinrude, what is the correct plug gap?? Pulled my plugs and they were gapped at .022, I regapped them to .040. I spoke to the dealer tonight that I bought the motor from and he said to gap my plugs at no greater than .035.
Closed mine down to .030" after advice from friends and lost a whole lot of power. Back to .040" and she runs sweet again!<br />Go figure eh!<br />Ross
