plug question Johnson 30hp

I have a '96 Johnson 30hp and was about to stick new plugs in it. It is running champion QL77JC4 plugs. I would like to switch to an NGK equivalent.

I have done some searching and came up with a couple of options but BZ7HS-10 seems to be the most popular option. Will the NGK run hotter/colder than the champion. Anything I ssould be leary of??


also .03inches =.762mm?

your motor was designed to run with Champion plugs. use the one it was designed for.
