Plug Wires and coil lead

I have a 99ish 4.3 thunderbolt 5 and I am troubleshooting no spark. When I pulled the coil lead wire, it stripped in my hand. I need a quick temporary wire from autozone or other that I can use to troubleshoot while I order a set.

Can anyone give me a proper fit alternative until I have time to order a permanent solution?

Ayuh,...... Welcome Aboard,...... Nothing special 'bout boat plug wires,.....
Any coil wire with the right ends will work, just fine,.....

There really is no difference between boat and car H V wires.
Only buy the ones with MOLDED spark plug ends.

I went with Moroso Ultra 40 race wires for my 454 - the ones i got are engine specific (BBC) and designed to go "under headers" for extra length. I like them because the plug ends are shrink wrapped onto the wires from the factory for extra strength and protection against moisture. They also have both ends marked with the cylinder #.
