bob-dog<br /><br />I am in the process of doing the exact same thing. I used, as mentioned, ACX, then I sealed it with fibreglass resin, epoxy seems to be the concensus. See the West System....<br /><br />I have a decorative aluminum piece that goes all the way around the seat on the outer edge. Because of that, I decided to seal the edge of the plywood with 5200 sealant, then add the aluminum decorative piece over the top. In addition I added a waterproof piece of laminate I found at the home depot, $50, and glued it down to create a nearly watertight seal. I hope

<br /><br />I am not saying that this is the right way to do it and after looking at what real marine grade plywood looks like you will appreciate why it is expensive. I have a high degree of confidence that this will work, but, I just finished the project last weekend and the boat won't hit the water for at least another 2 months.<br /><br />Just my 2 cents.
