Any one here ever opened up an impact wrench? My 1/2" drive works fine with the exception of the directional button....yall know.....lefty loosey-righty tighty button. Mine is an older craftsman that I purchased out of their repaired tool store. Just wondering if anyone may have any ideas on it.

Ayuh,.....

I usually just send them in for Factory Rebuilds,......
'course,... Mine are worth from hundreds to thousands a piece.....

However,.....
If I had that tool, with it's history,.....
You're darn Right I'd be tearing into it to see if I could get a few more Laps out of it......;)

Probably just needs a Good Clean'n,+ Oil'n......
