pointless distributor

[endless summer]

I finally got my engine rebuilt and back in. I located a set of exhaust manifolds on E- Bay and bought them. I want to put an ignition module in to replace the points. I have looked at the petronix system and can only find the Chev V8. Does anyone know of a system for my OMC 3.8 V6 Chev? This would seem to be a common-sensical approach to futher realibity. Thanks!

www.pertronix.com<br /><br />you need to know the distributor make and model more so than the engine model. Download the 2003 ignitor catalog from pertronix, or call them and ask. I'm looking at their catalog now, and they list Delco & Mallory distributors for 6 cylinders.<br /><br />Delco L-6 Non vacuum advance distributors with screw down cap: 1163A/91163A<br />Delco V6 Even fire engines with mechanical weights at top of distributor shaft: 1164/91164<br />Mallory 6 cylinder distributor model YL/HP: ML-161/9ML-161
