Has anybody used or have an opinion about composites one's poly lam resin? The composites one sales rep helped me compare the tech data sheets and they are pretty close, any opinions? Going with composites one will save me a ton on shipping..

Excellent Stuff. They are one of the Leading MFG's of Resin. A lot of the smaller distributors buy from them and re-package/re-name the resin. You can't go wrong using it.;):D

Thanks guys, apparently composites one has more than one choice of polyester laminating resin. Currently I'm using 435 marine grade From Uscomposites, Should I Just Use The Closest Match That Composites One Has To Uscomposites 435? Is all poly lam resin waxless? Is "marine grade" a marketing tool used by us composites? Or does it actually suggest a component(s) in the resin? Thank you all

Orthophthalic polyester laminating resin is what I'd recommend asking for. That's what's most commonly referred to as Marine Grade Resin. They Have it I'm sure!!

I had thought about using them for my resin source at one time but I think with shipping, USC was going to be about the same price. Plus, they delivered to my house.

Composites one doesn't sale the ortho in cali because of the high styrene content is prohibited in cali, they have poly lam but it's not ortho and the styrene content is 34.60 as opposed to us composites which has a way higher styrene content, I'm confused... I'm here at composites one right now

Either one will work. Vinylester is really good stuff and if it's not to pricey would be highly recommended.
