hi guys, I have more questions, I plan on cleaning my pontoons this weekend, I am going to use toon-brite, first question - will it be ok to put the toon-brite on while it is on the tralier, bunks are rubber. second question - what is a good polish that wont break the bank that works well, I was looking at a post on here that it took 1 quart of sharkhide just to do the first coat, i'm not sure that is what I want to do, that is why I'm asking. I dont have a buffer. I'm not worried about having a great shine, I just want them clean and protected'
thanks

Re: pontoon cleaner

One post below your is what I did/used.
http://forums.iboats.com/pontoons/pontoon-polishing-601504.html

I used JJV's to get the scale off and clean the pontoons worked awesome. I took it off the trailer as they said it can discolor paint.

As far as polish there is no one stop shop that will bring them to a shine. If all you want is clean pontoons not shine I would JJV them once a yr and call it good.

Just my 2 cents.
