Sorry I have a 20' Bass Buggy and want to set it up for night fishing using two propane coleman lanterns in the Bow of the boat on each side to keep from having to use an auxilary battery or worry about losing light as the night goes on, My idea is to run some propane hoses through the floor using splitters to a propane grill tank located inside a storage compartment, but can't find propane hoses long enough is there a place were you can order a 18' hose or longer?

Colman lanterns draw a ton of bugs, If you can go with a black light for night fishing, no bugs and you can see your lines better.

Look into LEDs, they are super brite and use very little power, I finished switching my boat over last year to all LED.

I night fish too and all my storage wells as well as the livewell are lit with them, I have a leg up in that I work for a boat company and have comeinto quite a few of them over the years but they are out there and they work really well.

Propane on a boat is generally frown upon especially by the Coast Gaurd, the only thing I run on gas bottles now is my heater and I got an adapter for a 20lb tank so I can refill the 1lb cans, you get @15 can out of 1 20 lber so it is pretty cheap and you can refill them over and over.

As for the hose maybe try searching Buddy Heaters, I sort of remember seeing a pretty long hose extension there.

Depending on what you are fishing for that's the idea. My dad would hang a single mantel Colman over the side of his old Lone Star when going crappie fishing. The light draws the bugs which hit the hot lantern and fall in the water. The bugs in the water draw the minnows, which in turn draw the crappie. We'd catch the limit every time we went out.

All points valid the lake im fishing is full of crappie and the idea of not running my battery all night is what i want since i don't have but a starting battery now, ithought about for maybe camping out on the boat as well i built a custom grill table that converts into a fish cleaning station. but my grill/ stove uses propane as well so i was just thinking it would make since seems how I allready will have the need.

Found a 360 degree LED lantern that runs for 21 hours on batteries at 220 lumens would this be able to be my subsitute for my white all around navagation light? If so i could hang on my binimi top and kill two birds with one stone.:D
