Hi all,
posted this on the 'toon forum, and someone recommended that I post the question here as well.
We have a 2000 model Crest Grand Caribbean 25' I/O V6 (210hp) pontoon pushing the following prop;

15.75"diameter x 15 pitch 3 blade SS Mirage prop. Part# (on prop itself) 48-19838.

There's not much room to go any bigger, the current prop is close to the cavitation plate.

Boat will "cavitate" the prop easily depending on how the boat is loaded, etc...Just checking to see what those of you with I/O powered 'toons are doing to keep the prop biting.

Ayuh,... You don't mention how it runs, nor it's rpms,...
But anyways,...
Bring it to a Prop Shop, 'n ask 'em to beat alittle more Cup into it to help with the cavitating...

I didn't mention top RPM as the prop is slipping right now, so not much help there. If loaded EXACTLY right for the conditions at hand, it might keep turning to around 3500-3700 before blowing out, I think best speed I've seen (indicated on a Nuvi GPS) was about 27 mph.

The boat came with some plates for the cavitation plate to extend them out from the sides, appears to be something to keep the foot/prop digging into the water to keep the prop from slipping. Once these plates were installed, prop slip decreased, but drag increased, and bogged the egine RPM down.
