Hello all,

I bought my fathers 2085 cfi (Crestliner) from my mother after he passed and am wondering what prop would work. I think it has the original prop on it now, but I would like too know what options I have for a replacement. Sorry, It has a 2004 Johnson 50hp 4 stroke. If anyone could offer suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I have tried too look it up as far as the engine is concerened, but wonder about it being on a pontoon.

Re: Pontoon prop.

You'll want to put a prop on there that will allow the motor to operate at 5000-6000 rpm at WOT. Ideal would be about 5500 rpm.

For a starting point, we need to know what pitch prop is on there now, and what rpm it turns with that prop. Then you can adjust, if required, based upon how it performs with the current prop.

I believe your motor was built by Suzuki. If you look near the base of the blades or under the prop nut you may find
the prop size.
