I have a Premier tri-toon with a Mercury Verado 200 H.P. motor. I originally had a 3 blade aluminum 14x19 prop. My WOT RPM's was only 5600-5650, 39 MPH, recommended RPM's is 5800-6400. I contacted my dealer and they gave me a 14.8x17 to try. It raised my RPM's to 5800-5850, still on the low side and also reduced my speed by 2-3 MPH. Any suggestion on what I should do? Thanks, much appreciated for any help.

On a pontoon that is often how it works, the results are un perdictable, I would try a 15 to put the motor in the right RPM range its better on the motor, how ever the speed is what it is.

You might try fine tuning your setup. At 39 mph you might gain some rpm by raising the motor.
If you don't have any ventilation problems it may indicate you can raise the motor.
Check that the throttle opens all the way.Check that timing is set right and advances as it should.
