I have a 2008 bentely 240 fish, which recentely had an optimax 115... I have installed a new 2015 fourstroke command thrust motor this week,,, the motor mount up was a direct fit and plug in,, the only adjustment needed was the throttle, and shift cable,, the motor runs perfectly smooth, . I put the boat in the water and when I tried to accelerate, everything went well, except the boat wont move very fast.. almost like the propeller isn't turning, but it is.. any info on this problem would be greately appreciated.. thank you..i bought a new prop from props plus in az, and am wondering if they gave me the right one,,, what should the correct pitch be. the prop on it now is a solas aluminum 3 blade, 13 pitch, and is new,,

We need to know your best lightly loaded wot rpm and gps speed.
I think your Command thrust needs more prop at least a 15" pitch perhaps an Enertia or a spit fire.
Keeping in mind that pontoon speeds vary widely I thnk about 30 should be possible.
