Yes... If the toon is big enough, 3 logs and enough power. I have run mine in Charleston just don't go out past the breakers. Gets crazy out there.

I see you are in Lexington. You should plan a trip down the rivers and through the locks into Charleston. Lot's of places to eat on the waterfront.

I read an article about a company sponsored boat that went from Baltimore (?) to Key West using the ICW. A year or so later they went from Miami to Bahama or Bermuda and back. They were just trying to show the versatily of their pontoons.

As stated, I wouldn't try it in an 18 with a 25 horse but on a bigger boat with real power absolutely.

A company was running and ad last year and went from Navy peir to Macinac Island in a toon and we sell alot of boats on Lake of the Ozarks which is a giant inland lake that is notorious for bad water.

I would look at a 25 tri in either OB or I/O, even a 22 with 25'' tubes would do fine and at least 150 horse.
