pontoons sitting low

i have a 24 ft pontoon boat,foam filled toons,have noticed that toons are sitting about 4inches in water lower than normal.have drained them but only got about 6 ounces of water out of each one,any other ideals,thanks

I don't know what type of foam was used on your toons, but every time I have encountered waterlogged foam core on boats, the foam absorbed the water any would not dry out. This meant that the foam had to be removed. I think that the only solution may be to have a machine shop cut the toons open so you can remove the foam and then mig weld the toons back together. I hope that you find an easier solution. Have you weighed the boat to see if it currently wieghs more than the specified wieght?<br /><br />SoulWinner
