Hi. I bought a Johnson 70hp 2001 a couple of months ago. The first time I turn it on during the day will fire fine, work in idle and at "high" speed. Then after being running for a while, when slow down, it will get too low in rpm and eventually will shutdown. Then after, to turn on the motor is not that easy and idle operation is not possible. I have to make a quick forward in order make it run at high will run fine. A couple of days ago, noticed that a white milky solution was getting out of the carburetors. I took of the carburetors cover and turn on the motor in a tank at neutral (1500 rpm). After a while, did observe that the were drops of "water" in the front of carburetor plate. I suspect that this water is causing the problem. I believe it is condensation but don't see why this is happening and how to fixt it. Any ideas?
Thanks, Luis

you do not say where you are. condensation is not unusual in high humidity climate.

You are very right. I am from Puerto Rico. I was going to say it but, thought it could not be the cause. Is there anything I can do about it? Besides move out.
Thanks, Luis.
