Hi guys,

Engine: 70hp, 3 cyl, 1982, thunderbolt ign.

Mech recently checked the engine said the fuel pump was only pullin 1lb instead of 3. Ran the boat after its check, everything fine. Following trip the engine back to its old tricks of boggin down at WOT, I've noticed that the speedo can also fall to zero.
Cleaned out main carb jets
Tank is vented
Fuel filter empties and syphons fuel back in when engine is shut off.
Prima bulb goes soft.
Fuel lines seem.

Are these signs of a electrical prob.

Thanks for reading

Ta

Mark

Re: Poor runner

No, these are signs of a bad promer bulb and bad fuel pump. Get new ones and I think your troubles will go away.

Re: Poor runner

I had similar problem at wot. on my 150. I rebuilt the fuel pump today and it solved my problem. Although I did not have the primer problem you mentioned. I would first replace the primer bulb. It sounds like the check in it went bad
