Is there a kit to replace the poppet and its associated parts or do I need to buy it in 8 differnt parts?

175 merc v6 1986 S/N 0A960011

seem tracking down the correct parts is a chore for this engine.

thanks! how the heck did you get to that? I looked under cooling. nothing.

that is not the one I need. there is a possibility of 2 types for the engine I have.

Just went through the same thing, they say theres kit but no one has it or knows the part number so you have to buy it one at a time

If you google it (803062T1), the kit seems to come up in many places:

I dont think that is the right one. There are 2 or 3 diffenrt types that may be on the engine.
I am only finding that one kit you linked. Not the right one

Something seems amiss here. Are you looking for a poppet or a thermo? Your engine s/n comes up as a model 1175726 and here is the parts listing:

The stuff I have is in that link.
The engine I have uses the assembley in the middle of the 3 shown
It is not either one of the 2 in the rectangle captions.
some of the part are the same in the lower rectangle caption as the center assebly that I have.
I need the parts for design ii
