At least boats don't have closed loop to complicate things.
I went through the EFI on my 5.8 Ford and changed out the needle in the float bowl.
Some of these older systems are a bit strange.

 I have been on the edge of my seat trying to work up the nerve to convert to closed loop it's just to expensive. There is hope however my mefi 3 ecu maybe more valuable than a mefi 4 these day's im just to reluctant to make the jump..to worried about long term OS sensor survial rates

Now i have bumped into this....Next summer.......Already have given the wife and kids the big merry christmas hint..;)

I have experience with Dynojet controllers and Innovate data loggers on my motorcycles.
My LSR Hayabusa makes 172 RWHP thanks to Dynojet
Great products for fine tuning efi and spark curves.
With most boats having wet exhausts I don't see how you can use a wideband O2 sensor.
I do agree that most efi systems can be better optimized than factory tuning but where this stuff is really useful is on modified engines.
