ported pistons

I am rebuilding a 1974 115 merc ser#3945429,and i need to change 1 piston that is not a ported piston . i have a crank with pistons for a 1986 merc 90 ser#0a902436 that has ported pistons all seem to be ok on this one .could i swap complete crank or should i change the one piston on the original crank and if i could swap cranks what about the reed cages are they the same from the 90 to the 115.

Easier to drop the 90 crank assy into block and reed blocks are the same..
