I bougth a Bayliner last year with a 1988 Force 85 OB. It hadn't ran for two or three years so when I first had it I spent $1200 dollars fixing it up plus another $600 on odd repairs on the carb(exp.) The only problem is the top of three carbs leaks gas out of the air/overflow vent and the side jet. I have had them solder the seat, change parts out, and finally I had the place rebuild it, only to have it not working. I have had it up there almost weekly all last summer and this summer to have it fixed again. They say they can't order new carbs for the motor and they can't fix it! I need to know if there is a place to order carbs for these self-destructing motors, also any ideas on what the problem might be on the carb. Please help, I am desperate for the lake. Thank you thank you

buddy, your past the point of no return "money wise", you gotta go all the way now. yes you can get carbs for that motor from any authorized mercury dealer i'd say for about $140-$160 a piece. good luck :)
