72 OMC sterndrive 225 hp.
I believe the fuse/circuit breaker is weak .
I turn the to start I get a click , sometimes a partial rev from the engine then no power to anything.
After awhile it seams to reset and but still does the same thing.
I wand to replace the fuse/breaker what size is it I read one post that said 50 amp is that correct.
Everything was working just fine the after i cleaned the exhaust manifolds this problem started.

Thanks, Rich

Sounds more like a loose, corroded battery cable connection. Loose the wing nuts, use a wrench on regular nuts and sandpaper the connections clean. Don't forget there is a positive and negative cable and either will do the same thing. Oh, and a loose cable end on a cable or it being held on by only a couple strands is a sure sign you need a new cable.

I will double check all connections but i just finished rewireing the harness everything is clean but could have loosened while was working on the exhaust manifolds.
I hope it is just a loose connection.

Thanks, Rich

Make sure you check the ground cable where it attaches to the block. Don't just tighten everything but remove and clean the connections.

If it does come down to the fuse it is 50 amp.
