Possible christmas present for bro.

Does anyone have any experience with these pop up cleats. I was on a new 28 foot center console this summer that had them. And they are great, the skipper had platted his lines for the fenders, dock ropes,and no tying just loop the end over the cleat.

Looks nifty. I would never use them because I venture into salt water and that critter looks like a cup that will hold water in it. Rust?

I bought some pop up stainless cleats on ebay. Real nice they were too..

Pop up cleats are nice.They have a small "cup" that is installed with them that stop any water from leaking through. I use them in salt water and have never had a problem. Clean them after each use just like bow rails or standard cleats.
