I noticed today that my coils are cracked. I noticed one awhile back but today that one is noticably worse and the other one is cracked also. Is there something I can do to stop the progression? I don't think this is causing any running problems but I don't know.

Sorry for all the questions in different posts but I thought it would be better than lumping them all together.

Help me please!

Shane

Hi Shane

It is better to gather all questions in one thread. You will get more replies and better answers. The more the people here on the board knows about your problem, the better advise they can give you. Remember one problem is often connected to the other.

If you have normal spark, i would suggest you to seal the coils with silicone ( ONLY ELECTRONIC TYPE ) after drying them with a hairdryer. This will prevent them against water.

GDane,

I sure appreciate your help and responses. Should I remove the coils for this? Where can I get an electronic silicone?

Are you saying to blow dry them in case there is water in them and then seal it with silicone?

I'll post all my problems on one post next time. So far the news sounds much better than what I was anticipating. I may not have to cancel my fishing trip I have planned for Thursday :p

Shane
