Possible Trim Or Battery Issue?

1995 Bravo 2 drives.

Here is the issue:

I have 3 batteries, house, 1 and 2. All are charged and have tight connections. With both battery switches in the off position, my starboard trim operates just fine, both up and down. My port trim however does not. All I hear is a clicking sound when trying to go up or down with the trim switch. The trailer switch raises just the starboard drive.

Now if I switch the port battery switch to battery # 1 or #2, the port trim works just as it should both up and down, and the trailer switch then raises both drives.

Not sure where to start looking on this?

Thanks

Re: Possible Trim Or Battery Issue?

Start by finding out where the power wires are hooked to.with the batteries off and 1 system working
that one is hooked directly to the battery, the other one going to the port has no power untill you use the battery switch.the clicking may be activating the solenoids from the stbds battery but without a main power connection to power the pump , nothing happens.
