Hi I'm still kind of new in here and I was just wondering if anybody could tell me how to insert a photo with a post in one of these forums? so that it shows the pic right there in the post. I have figured out the link thing to my shareaproject boat resto. but can't figure out how to do a pic right in a post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I have learned alot in the forums over the past couple of weeks and will continue to come in here for a long time to come. Really a great website on boating, haven't found anything that comes close to it yet.

The picture thing is really a two step process. First, you've got to get the photo uploaded to a site on the internet. I use tinypic.com because it's very simple, fast, and automatically resizes your pics so they aren't too big (hint, hint!). After you upload to tinypic, it will give you a "link" to the picture like: http://tinypic.com/4qkefa <br />Once you have that, make up a post and click the IMAGE button, and fill in the link. You should end up with a segment like this in your post:<br />

If the picture is already visible somewhere on the internet - say shareaproject.com, then you can link it right from there. Bring up the webpage with the photo you would like to post, put the cursor over the picture, right-click the mouse, and select "Copy Image Location" for Mozilla/Firefox. For Internet Explorer, right click, select "Properties", then select the Address text, right click and select "Copy", then click OK. Then make up your post, and when you to insert the image click the IMAGE button, right click on the spot where you would write in the URL, and select "Paste".<br /><br />I hope that is clear, but if it isn't just say so! :)

Okay let me try that. Thanks for the info. Everyone in here is so helpful, I really like that about iboats. let's see........

Thanks for the info regarding the full pic and not the thumbnail Snapper! I think I've got it now!
