Hello All.
Can anyone point me to a tutorial on posting pictures on the forum. This is a big step for me but it is time I learned. Thanks, Rick.

Re: Posting Pictures

Above the box you type in, there is a little icon of what looks like a window. When you hover your mouse over it it will say "Insert Image". Click on it, then click select image. That will take you to your hard drive. Select the picture you want to use, then click upload. All done.

Thanks HighTrim. That sounds easy but I will probably complicate it. I will try. Rick.

O Boy. I have no window to click on above this box. The first line up says "Quick Reply"

Ok below that there will be a row of different icons. A "B", "I", and "U" for bold, italic, underline, then an area to change font size and type, then keep going across to the one for the insert image.

OK. I went up to my settings and changed something there and now have a line of icons above the box. Will try to insert an image now.
Well every time it says"Upload of file failed"

OK. I had to re-size my pictures and then it worked! This was a major accomplishment for me. LOL. Thanks again. Not sure where this thread ended up. Rick.

Re: Posting Pictures

Many folks here prefer the "URL" method of posting pictures. There are some instructions in the 'stickies' at the top of the forum on the various methods of posting pics.

If you have a photobucket account or a personal web site, you can post the pictures directly from there and they will show up in regular size within the post. No need to click on the thumbnails.
