Power assist steering

I too k our Bennington tri-toon out yesterday and the steering was acting weird. Wheel turns very easily but the motor response to the wheel input is way off. I can turn the wheel as long as I want in either direction with minimal change to motor direction. Any ideas on what’s wrong??? Thanks

do you have hydraulic steering? if so, your low on oil and need to bleed the system

You say power assist so I am assuming hydraulic steering, as Scott said the system has gotten air in it somehow and needs bleed.

I would also assume a leak somewhere if air has gotten in, should be easy to find, just look for oil leaking.
