Power head switch

Will a 1986 FORCE 85 hp power head fit on my 1983 FORCE unit? Thanks

Most definitely! Mechanically, everything is the same.

If the '86 has quick connect ignition components,there is nothing to change. If the '86 has a terminal board on the electronic mounting board, it is easier to use the whole ignition system. Are you sure it is an '83? I thought the Chrysler name was used until '84.

Yep positive its an 83 was registered and dated, the last chrysler version of the FORCE from what i understand. So what you saying is that all my ingition components will be able to be switched to the 86 rebuilt head? Frank your the man.
