Power Head Zincs/Pencil Zincs

I have an 03' 200 hp 0x66 SWS Yamaha with 500 hrs. It has been well flushed with occasional fresh water use. I have replaced the trim tab and bracket zinc once in that time frame. Do I need to be looking at/replacing the pencil zincs? Are they a critical item? Any help would be great. Thanks M

u need to look at them
very easy to get to

OK, I'll bite -- what are pencil zincs and where would one find them on the motor?

they are in the powerhead of and outboard and sometimes found in heat ex-changers on an i/o
a long thin zinc
