Power Help?

i have a evinrude 70hp and it use to run 30 and now it will only run about 15...and how do i check the lower unit oil? and could this be the trouble?<br /><br />thanks David

You gotta give us more than that. Are we talking about 30 mph and 15 mph or rpms. Give us a history. We need more info on the engine, what year, when did it last run right, what have you done to it since it ran right. We're not psychic.
