if I try and go above 3500 revs the R.H. motor cuts out untill I drop the throttle.
The L.H. motor does not cut out but will not go above 2500 revs.
Up to that point every thing is perfect. Full service has just been done.

Welcome.
More info? Year? model#?
Guessing?? slipped in the water?
Condition of the bottom??

3500 then dies could be a dirty filter or a filter in wrong?
Or it's at max because the other isn't doing what it's supposed to do??

More info???

Problem has been there on and off for over a year. It was slipped, antifouled, all filters changed. I was hoping that might fix it.
It has twin 175 4D volvo pentas with sterndrives. year 2002

Was boost pressure checked? Fuel pump timing?

I wouldnt guess. I would have fuel pump timing checked, boost pressure checked, and fuel return restriction checked.

My initial thought is the LH motor is fine, it appears to be bogging because the left is falling down. Just to much load on the one motor with the other not preforming.

I would check lift pump pressure and boost pressure
