1983 75HP Evinrude. Not firing on #1 cylinder. Ran the power pack test according to the OMC manual. The test results for each ignition coil was less then 230v which would indicate a bad power pack, correct? When I ran the test there would be no reading on the voltmeter, then it would read anywhere from 30 to 100v and then nothing, then a reading, etc. Did this for each coil. Ran the test by connecting the + test wire to the lead that runs from the ignition coil to the plug and then attaching the - wire to a good ground. Pulled all plug wires during the test. <br /><br />Did I do this correctly?
