Power tilt problem

I have 15hp mercury kicker motor with a Quicksilver Commander 3000 clasic remote control
This also controls my CMC PT-35 Powerlift. My problem is that my power lift tilts down but not up. It maybe just a loose wire but I am not sure. I need to check in the remote control handle. I am not sure how to check this . Any suggestions?

check for loose connections on the engine as well

Turns out it was one of the solenoid relays. I found this out when I switched the wires on the lift motor. It went up instead of down. So the one relay was burned out.
