Just got the motor and the power tilt was working but leaking. The owner has been ill and had not used it in a while and speculated that the seals gave out., So I get it home and it went up slowly with help. I topped off the fluid and now it will not raise. The tilt motor runs though. I cannot raise it manually - aka lift it myself. I tried the manual release screw on the lower left to no avail. It comes up about 15 degrees and stops suddenly when I lift it. Manual release screw makes no difference. Not a spongy hydraulic feel but it just stops. I am not going to try to gorilla it. Any ideas? Rebuild kit is on the way. And yes, been all over search and Youtube. Suggestions welcome and thank God for this forum.
