Hi peoples.<br /><br />I have a 72 100HP Johnson, <br /><br />It has both hydrolic rams for tilt and trim but someone knicked the pump and controller for it.. so now I find myself looking for replacements.<br /><br />I think there is a good chance that the 71 and 79 model 100's would fit, but as I understand it, the pumps are made by companies other then the outboard manufacturer.. so I suspect that other models would fit also.. there are three lines to hook up to the pump, one from the bottom of each ram and a third one that I can't tell where it comes from as the outboard is mounted and that obscures its source.<br /><br />does anyone know what models wrecking I should be looking for? did any other brands use the same motors? like chrysler, merc, evinrude (know that one is likely), force or any others?<br /><br />also, what horsepower range of engine? would a pump from an 80hp be the same as one for a 100? <br /><br />What I am hoping to get from this is a list of appropriate models with matching pumps.<br /><br /><br />for example: 70-72 evinrude 80-115hp<br /><br />that sort of thing.. I know I can buy an aftermarket pump that fits, but I got a price and it was over 900 dollars australian.. and thats alot of money.<br /><br />any thoughts would be much appreciated.<br /><br />rgds<br /><br />Frank
