Power trim and tilt upgrade.

I have a question, can you put power trim and tilt on a motor that did not come with it? I have a 1985 evinrude 70hp and want to have power trim without dishing out $600 for that one by CMC. If any one can help me with this that would be great. Thanks

there are plenty of used pt&t's out there off of blown & junked 3&4 cylinder motors out there.i have several. rick

Is it a simple matter of just finding a motor with t&t with same horse and year or can you inter-mix the two? Do you have anything that would work for my motor? 1985 evinrude 70hp Thanks Rick
