power trim and tilt

i have a 1985 85hp forces motor.. when i am running my trim doesnt stay up .. i know some motors have a screw that releases the trimso it stays down i dont know if this motor has it or not.. i dont see any fluid leaking any where ...
When the boat is parked, will the motor stay up when you raise it up?it has 3 pistons .. the first time i took it out this year it went up and stayed up for about 15 mins then i slowed down and it only went up and stayed up at low rpm

You have bad valves in the power trim pump. Search for numerous related threads in the Force forum.

i been tring to look it up on here but when i click on the forces outboard forum it doesnt come up with anything

Are you using the "advance search" function within the Force section. put keyword tilt or trim in search box....and click "search titles only".
