Hi guys, I'm posting here because I'm totally stumped. I have a 1986 force outboard with a two wire trim motor that doesn't work. All I hear are the two relays clicking. I replaced the relays with no change. I disconnected the wires from the motor to the relays and plugged in a light. The light operates perfectly normal. That made me think the trim motor was bad. I bought a new one, then hooked it up and it worked! Awesome. Then I went to actually mount it and we are back to square one. Same thing relays just click. If I connect the motor directly to the battery, it sparks. This is a brand new motor, what did I do wrong and why won't it work?
