power trim makes weird noises/86 johnson 110hp

Ive tried adding fluid to the trim but it stil makes weird noises going up and down, at times it acts normal . Ive also notice that it no longer keeps as high of a tilt when im full out and thats robbing me of a few miles per hour. At slow cruising speeds i can tilt the motor right out of the water but at higher speeds it will only tilt so far.

Try changing the fluid, just like an oil chage. If it has been contaminated with water you may experience this problem.<br /><br />Ian

I know how to add fluid but draining the resevoir ??

do you think the seals are finished ?
