Power trim stuck

I've got a 1975 115hp evinrude with power trim that
operated flawlessly this spring. I took the motor off in
June to repair the transom on the boat. Reinstalled the
motor this morning and the power trim won't raise the
motor. When I push the switch the motor engages and it only moves up a quarter of an inch and then gets stuck.
Could the trailer lock have fallen and wedged itself in the
bracket frame.

Hey everyone, read some earlier posts.
Released the pressure and jiggled the motor upwards
until the motor was able to be lifted and the motor trailering bracket fell down, must have gotten lodged in there. All is fine now.
