Power Trim/Tilt Question 3.7l Alpha1

Hi,<br />Just bought a used boat. Used to have O/B with no bells/whistles and now I have a few (tilt and trim).<br />I understand the tilt and trim but it seems odd that there is a "trailer" button. What is the difference between "Trailer" and "Up"? In either case they both pull the drive all the way up when you hold them.<br />Maybe I am just missing something here??<br />Any help is appreciated!!

The trim up only went a few degrees and had a trim limit switch to prevent doing damage to the drive by raising it too far when the engine was running. The trailer puts the drive all the way up, but when the drive is all the way up you better NOT have the engine running.
