Powerhead compatability

Can I use a 1976 65 HP 3 cylinder powerhead to replace a bad powerhead 1984 60 HP 3 cylinder? Lower unit is longshaft electric start not power tilt.

How about all of the bolt on bits?

No, they use a differant exhaust plate on base gasket
