What is the easiest way to install the powerhead and lower cowling? As I remember this was a pain in the a$$ to get off let alone on. And... to make things worse.. I will need to not screw up any of the paint in the process.

What kind of problem did you have removing it? What problems do you anticipate puttin' it back on?<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

Spark - Probably help a tiny bit if you shared what kind of motor you are working on.

Re: Powerhead installation

Silly me.. 115 JohnRude 73'<br /><br />Hooty, your reply led me to believe that there was nothing to it. You were right! I was thinking that the cowl bolted to the powerhead, and it does. So.. I thought I was going to have to put the cowl over, then put powerhead on, then attach cowl.. not the case... the cowl can be placed and bolted before the powerhead installation. The trouble I had when tearing down was that I was trying to remove the cowl before the powerhead. I just went in the garage and installed it. Was a piece of cake!<br /><br />Thenks for intertaining my stupid question.
