Hello All,
I am trying to remove the powerhead from my 1992 Johnson 225 so that I can replace the water pickup tube. The problem is it seems to be stuck. I have removed all the bolts that I can see (8 total plus three nuts) and tryed lifting. I have lifted the boat off the trailer, but still no luck. Am I missing something ? or is just stuck?

Well, there goes the easy solution. Can you tell which part of it is sticking? i.e. does one side lift up but not the other?

It's off now. Turns out there where 6 more bolts that my Clymers manual forgot to mention. Thanks

that's why we recommend spending the money on a oem manual.
