Powerhead swap easy? - 1979 to 1975 40hp merc 402

How much effort would it be to swap the power head from a 1979 40 hp Merc 402 to a 1975 40 hp Merc 402? Anything I need to look out for?

always good to have a merc manual but not that hard of a job. there are some things to check for with the new/used powerhead like crankshaft bearings, endcap seals etc...the manual will show you what you need to know and its good to check it out before you install it
